ABC’s of Canucks → Alex Burrows
“The day I signed that contract [three seasons ago] I was the happiest guy in the world and I’m still really happy. Coming from where I was, within a few weeks of quitting hockey and making $400 a week, having to ask my parents for extra money in the summer as a 21-year-old, wasn’t something that was too cool. But now to live comfortably, to have everything I need, to provide for my family, it’s more than enough. I’m really happy to be on a winning team, too, with some of the best players in the world.”
